 | 07:46 am - All good things
Back to work after two great weeks off. One kick ass week in Newquay. Then we homed two adorable kittens. Now I just need to get used to waking up at the unholy hour again. Hopefully that will be soon. zzzzzzzzz Posted via LiveJournal.app. Current Location: United Kingdom, England

 | 08:40 am - A good day
Had a lovely birthday yesterday. Roast lamb and red wine. A voucher for one kitten plus jabs etc from Si :) The best thing about yesterday was just feeling cared for. Posted via LiveJournal.app. Current Location: United Kingdom, England

 | 08:19 am - Lovely Bedford
I have had to call 999 twice in My life. Both times in Bedford and both times because I got to witness a person going psychotic at someone more vunerable than themself. Lets move to a quite little village where the worst crimes are done by bored teenagers with street signs. Posted via LiveJournal.app. Current Location: United Kingdom, England

 | 08:08 am - Grooming
I guess it's work experiance time, as the Bedford-London route seems to be littered with 12year old boys in expensive looking suits. I don't know what makes me feel more uncomfortable. Imagining these children in positions of responsibility because Daddy was, or the total lack of girls. Posted via LiveJournal.app. Current Location: United Kingdom, England

Good morning world. Now that I have the lj app, you may see a few more of these. I'm currently on a mission to get a kitten or two in late July, so if you know anyone with some needing a home in the Bedford area, please let me know. | 03:04 pm - Spot the irony. Last night I went to make my tuna and sweet corn sandwiches for lunch today, and discovered that I do not own a can opener. Cranberry sauce does make a nice jam though.
Today I went to Wilko's to purchase a can opener and saw a little old lady running a stall out side of it. The signs on it were asking people to sponsor a wild animal and give it a second chance etc. On the little old ladies lap sat a little doggy. In the little old ladies mouth sat a fag.

 | 10:43 am I had a phone call from Mum on the bus into work this morning. She told me that a woman I had known as a child had died of cancer- at Christmas we had heard that she was getting better. I was surprised more than anything- I hadn’t really though about her in years. But I think I had some kind of delayed reaction. She was a really nice lady (only 39!) and it makes me sad to think I will never see her again in this world. I think the hardest part is the cancer. I like getting to forget every now and then that Mum’s will probably come back again one day. I like to joke with myself that she’s going to live until 90- and that it will return the day before. | 09:58 am - Weekend I had a great weekend. I was fun meeting Si off the train on Friday. After a scary bus ride (there were wrong sounds coming from the engine), it was really pleasant walking across town with my umbrella. It was beautiful, and not really that cold. We even got to fantasise about being snowed in and Si not being able to return on Sunday (alas).
We spent our time catching up, playing Halo2 and watching DVDs. A nice lazy weekend J
Sunday night my little sister came to visit, and there was the usual banter and disappointment from her boyfriend that I didn’t have my TV on (I think it’s quite rude to leave the TV on when people come round invited, it’s a distraction).
5 days until the weekend. Current Mood: amused
